Our approach

What changes the value
of a business

An investment starts with a company we know well and a specific reason its prospects may change. That may be a new management team, a shift in competition or a new product. We ask what this could mean for the business over the next three years.

Meetings with management are part of the investigation. We test what we hear against company accounts, discussions with competitors and industry contacts, and our knowledge of the business across cycles.

We build cash flow forecasts and compare valuation scenarios. Each investment case sets out what could unlock value, the likely timing and where we could be wrong. Position sizes are reviewed as the evidence and the price change.
